Um, I can honestly say that's a new-age hoax. I study mythology and judging by what I've seen in the video the interpretation is the MODERN vision of the gnome. The original gnomes were people of the earth who wore robes and not pointed hats...

How odd. I wouldn't say it's real,and the quality isn't very good either. At 0:33 it looks like it has a fixed or already cast head. (Like out of plaster, ect.) And at 0:34, you can see some type of gleam off the side of its main body. It's body is shaped sorta like a tin can. I have to agree with Diana though, they were truly scared.

I think is realy i was talking to my parents and they said that they are real. but that my be a trick. =) We should all do some research on it and see if any1 saw a gnome and go to a book stor or something and read up and gnomes. BUT I THINK IT IS REAL :P

y does everyone automatically assume its some kind of joke? If it is, I dont think those guys were acting it out. Someone could be pranking them becuase from what i read, on an aricle, one of the guys was so terrified that he was even rushed to the hospital.. I'm not saying it's a real gnome but watever it was, its not a small person or a child. Another thing is that it is a poor quality video because it was filmed on a cell phone. And yes, i think this is creepy because anything that is out of the ordinary would scare anyone.

Not really good proof, but you never know. The way it was side stepping was really creepy though. If the footage was clearer it would be easier to tell whether it's ligit or a hoax.
